I occasionally drive by my old house on Locust Lane and then the Roslyn Country Club. I agree with Nancy Wechselblatt Hirsch in the last edition of the Newsletter (“Life During and After the Roslyn Country Club”) that what happened to the Club is disgraceful. My brothers and I spent so many summers there enjoying all the facilities: tennis, swimming, paddle ball, stick ball and the snack bar.  Also, I would like to add my name to the list of Wheatley Graduates who worked there; I was a lifeguard during the summer of 1970.
